52 tons expired commodities discarded
01/05/2009 by: AnwarThe Municipal Council team of the Farwaniya governorate announced Wednesday it had disposed of 52 tons of expired commodities during its campaign which began early this year.
Head of the team Ahmad Al-Hazim told the press that the team had closed down 15 of 2,050 shops in the governorate, adding that 610 violations were issued during that period.
The team had also togged about 610 neglected cars while 349 tickets for other violations concerning road safety, public hygiene, and unlicensed hawkers were issued.
