Police at the Kuwait International Airport have arrested a Malaysian shortly before he was about to leave the country, reports Al-Rai daily.
The suspect is believed to be part of a gang, some members of which were arrested a few days ago for buying goods using fake credit cards.
The suspect was caught in possession of a ‘lot’ of money and expensive watches.
Earlier it was reported the Hawalli police had arrested three Malaysians inside a hotel in the area after shops which had sold goods to the men complained the men had used fake credit cards to buy goods worth KD 20,000.
The daily had also said the police were looking for a fourth man, believed to be the leader of the gang.
