As reported on Arabtimes on 14th April : Viva continues to expand into the Kuwaiti market by introducing a series of quality services to meet the varying tastes of clients in the market focusing on quality and distinction. The Kuwaiti Telecommunication Company, Viva, signs a contract with E-Net to promote online recharge service, availing clients of cutting edge technologies to recharge pre-paid cards online, buy cards and pay bills round-the-clock, through 83 different ATMs located in various parts of Kuwait. Since Viva clients inside Kuwait are a mixture of citizens and expatriates speaking diverse languages, Viva ATM machines use different languages. Viva CEO Najeeb Al-Awadi signed the contract with E-Net Board Chairman Sabah Khalid Al-Ghuneim, and speaking on the occasion, said that the introduction of a new client service fell in line with Viva’s client-oriented strategy on extending clients with cutting edge technology solutions to establish and promote self-service and economize on clients’ time and effort.
He added that it had been our target to enable clients to process transactions in a number of ways; such as through Viva’s website, where clients could log onto their personal accounts with self-composed passwords to check out their cell phone bills and view related detail without having to call in person at any of the Company’s client service offices.
He added that Viva wanted to enable clients to carry out the services they desired through its webpage without having to call at any of its client service offices. Today, he said, our clients would be able to pay their bills and recharge prepaid cards online, as part of Viva’s strategy on introducing a number of online client services to complement the self-service package introduced earlier.
Al-Awadi promised Viva clients with yet another package of advanced services to further facilitate communication with them, stressing that the inaugurated new service which Viva provided in cooperation with E-Net involved the supply of a number of ATM machines in various shopping centers, coops and supermarkets.
He praised the local market for its high performance, which he described as one of the best in the world for its high and unlimited demand for state-of-the-art communication services, emphasizing the Company’s incessant endeavour to take the lead through careful and studied investment of its expertise and capabilities, within the framework of the values and vision dominating its client service operation.
