The company was established in 1949 and its activities were in oil fields, contracting, drinking water establishments, chemical industries, food products, pharmaceutical products, marine/desert equipments, and helped in the building of the first electric and water station in Kuwait.
The company also contributed in building homes, fire stations, and schools. There was a lot of cooperation between our establishment and the ministry of education, ministry of defense, ministry of interior, ministry of industry, ministry of health, and all kinds of other governmental buildings...
The Marine & Desert division is specialized in all the accessories of ATV's, motorcycles, yachts, boats, speedboats,and picnics, and all off-road, off-shore, and diving equipments.

The company has several outlets all over Kuwait, with the main showroom, warehouse, workshop and diving education center situated in Shuwaikh near the city center. At Khiran Resort (70 km south of the Kuwait City) the company has a workshop and showroom, in addition to organising diving and fishing trips. Recently, Al Boom opened a workshop and spare parts store at Doha Village, which is the center of commercial fishing in Kuwait.
